Plant roof zinc with water drainage

The plant roof on the garbage bin box or bicycle garage is a visual highlight and makes a valuable contribution to the climate. The roof planting protects against solar radiation, thereby regulating the temperature inside the garbage bin box and thus preventing unpleasant odours. An 8 cm deep planting tray is placed on the frame of the garbage bin box. The roof is equipped with a water drain so that the water does not accumulate on the garbage bin box.

Material:
Zinc sheet metal is edged and riveted and then the inner corners are soldered.
The tub protrudes slightly to the rear, the water drain is located on this protrusion.

For an optimal supply of water and nutrients to the plants, a drainage mat should be inserted before planting. You can find help on planting the roof under News.
