Congratulations on purchasing our DIY stainless steel bin box!
We would like to give you a few tips to ensure that the stainless steel surface of the dustbin box remains as high-quality and good-looking.
This is how you ensure that your dustbin box always shines like the first day.
First cleaning after assembly
After assembly, you should carry out an initial cleaning. Our DIY stainless steel garbage can box has a protective film on the surface of the material. You should remove this immediately after installation. Tip: If the film is difficult to remove, you can use a heat gun to heat the film. This makes it easier to pull off. We also advise you to immediately remove dirt and fingerprints that may have formed during installation.
DDue to the mechanical stress, fine metal dust is produced and it can happen that the hinges become discolored and look rusty. No worries! It is air rust. Tip: Clean the spots with a pressure washer. In this way, even fine chips can be removed from hard-to-reach places.
For cleaning, we recommend cleaning hinges and gas pressure absorbers twice a year with WD 40 or alternatively silicone spray. Never use cleaning additives such as hydrochloric acid, chlorine or hydrocarbons.
With these small but very clever tips, we guarantee that you will enjoy your "My garbage can" DIY stainless steel garbage can box for a long time!
